Simulation of Core Flooding Experiments under Uncertainty.

Internship Description

The student will study numerical method for multiphase flow and develop mathematical tools and computational code to study the uncertainty in subsurface flow in reservoir. The student will work in the SRI-Center for Uncertainty Quantification at KAUST and take advantage of the high expertise and interdisciplinary of the group. The technical and scientific guidance and teaching will be devoted to the development of efficient algorithms for multiphase flow, inverse problem, propagation of uncertainty and stochastic modeling in porous media.
