Inkjet Printed Wireless Temperature and Humidity Sensors for Smart Bandage Application
Internship Description
Workshop Description
In this project, the
student will first learn inkjet printing in the lab. Then the student will
design temperature and humidity sensors. These will be electrical sensors,
specifically resistive and capacitive sensors. These sensors will be printed on
a wearable bandage to determine the temperature and humidity levels in the
wound. The bandage will also have a wireless part which will send this data to
the cell phone in a wireless fashion. The project involves design, fabrication
and characterization so the student will go through the entire cycle of a
research project.
